Project title:
Hotels and Public Transportations in Cyberjaya/Putrajaya

Problem statement:
There is no specific website that gives the details about the accommodation and transportation in Cyberjaya and Putrajaya yet. Some tourists, not only the foreign but also the local people who are planning to visit Cyberjaya/Putrajaya need a portal that gives them some useful information about the places.

Objectives:

• To ease the tourists who are having difficulties in finding places to stay in Cyberjaya or Putrajaya.
• To give information about the public transport services in Cyberjaya and Putrajaya.
• To provide route map with directions to every hotel in Cyberjaya and Putrajaya.
• To offer the customer with services like a tourist guide, pre-booking hotel and special promotions.

Description:
This system is basically a website that includes all the tourists need such as the information about the accommodation and transportation. For the foreign customers, they will consider this website as their virtual visit to Cyberjaya or Putrajaya because this system will have some pictures of fascinating places around Cyberjaya/Putrajaya.
The customers who are planning to visit the Cyberjaya/Putrajaya will not going to be lost if they view our portal because the route map will be provided and the details of the public transportations like fares, schedules and routes also will be given.
In developing this website, the programs that will be embedded to this system are WikiMapia and Youtube. To record the project activities or progress from time to time, this company uses blogger which can view at http://ridenrelax.blogspot.com .

Phase 1: Proposal and Planning (Week 2 - 3)

• Formation of team
• Team meeting and brainstorming about the project
• Study and experiment with the Web 2.0 applications and their development APIs.
  - Applications chosen: Google Map and Youtube API
• Registration of Ride N Relax blog

Phase 2: Requirement and Design (Week 3 – 5)

• Dividing tasks among group members :

  • Coordination of Project Activities
  • Final say in decisions if the team is unable to reach a decision

  • Coordination of software development tasks among developers
